Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Software Tester to join our SaaS-based IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, and reliability of our web-based products through thorough manual and functional testing.

Key Responsibilities

• •Review business requirements and functional specifications to understand testing scope.
• •Design, document, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
• •Perform functional, regression, integration, sanity, smoke, and UI testing.
• •Identify, log, track, and retest defects using management tools (e.g., Jira).
• •Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
• •Conduct exploratory testing to identify usability and functionality gaps.
• •Support UAT and ensure releases meet business expectations.

Requirements

• •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• •1 to 3 years of experience in software testing or QA.
• •Strong understanding of software testing concepts, SDLC, and STLC.
• •Hands-on experience in manual testing and test case execution.
• •Good knowledge of bug reporting, defect lifecycle, and test documentation.
• •Familiarity with web applications and SaaS product testing.
• •Exposure to tools such as Jira, TestRail, or Postman.
• •Understanding of Agile methodology and responsive testing.
